The ATOM Foundation was organized by Chris and Michelle Stoddard as a means of providing relief for people who find themselves in war-torn or critical areas throughout the world. Lately, focus has been on Eastern Europe and the people of Ukraine.
In 2022, when conflict broke out in Eastern Europe, Michelle and Chris, along with several close friends, wanted to help provide assistance to refugees who were fleeing the fighting.
"We decided we needed to do more, but felt like it wasn't a good idea to keep channeling donations through our personal accounts, so we started the ATOM Foundation as a vehicle for anyone who hear the clarion call to help us as we assist in providing basic creature comforts for these desperate people."
Given the gravity of the situation and the general lack of public resources, ATOM Foundation Co-founder Michelle Stoddard and her friends were determined to make an effort, focusing on providing medical services to those who needed them. Given the gravity of the situation and the general lack of public resources, ATOM Foundation Co-founder Michelle Stoddard and her friends were determined to make an effort, focusing on providing medical services to those who needed them. Our ongoing mission is to continue to help where we can. On average, our efforts, combined with those kind friends, family and partners, have helped more than 2,500 refugees with basic food and medical services.
Our trips to war-torn Eastern Europe have lit a fire in our hearts, seeing the comfort these simple acts of service provided for these people.
We are asking for donations to help feed these refugees. We want as much money as possible to make it to these people, so we have been funding the non-profits overhead ourselves (including travel, and administrative costs).
Every dollar you provide goes directly to food, medicine, clothing and the basic necessities for more than 2,000 displaced families. Your contribution WILL make a difference (and than you!)
